Boat Safety Scheme Examiner

Boat Safety Scheme Examiner

If you have arrived at this page after searching for a Boat Safety Examiner, please note the following message:

Dear Boater, I retire from the Boat Safety Scheme and Gas Safe Register today, the 31st March 2014. My thanks to you all for making the past nine years so enjoyable and interesting. In fairness to my Examiner colleagues, I have decided not to make recommendations about who you could commission for your examination. With very best wishes, Andrew

Boat Handling and Management.  Operating in association with Clifton Cruisers, a Royal Yachting Association Recognised Training Centre, I  provide a two day practical course leading to the RYA Inland Waterways Helmsman Certificate. Additionally, I prepare candidates for the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) Boatmaster Licence Tier 2. I am also an accredited trainer and assessor for the MCA approved Inland Waterways Association Certificate of Boat Management.

VHF Marine Radio Training. I am able to offer the approved one day training course and assessment for the award of the Marine Radio Operators Short Range Certificate. Special arrangements can be made for boat clubs and associations, with the training delivered at your location. Small group and individual tuition is also available, and the training element of the course can now be undertaken online.  Get in touch, via the contact tab, to discuss your requirements.
